The first term commenced at the end of January, and the school year is set to wrap up in November. This year, we are thrilled to have the chance to reinforce and expand the school. Gideon, Paula, and Musyoki Kilonzo will all be on-site throughout the year.
Our primary goals include:
- Implementing efficient administrative systems
- Offering staff development opportunities
- Working closely with students
- Facilitating open communication with parents and the community
Kalawa is a quaint rural village situated approximately 100 miles from Nairobi, Kenya's capital. Due to challenging road conditions, the journey to Kalawa takes around four hours. The area is characterized by widespread hardship and poverty — and it is exactly this context that makes the work of St. Joseph's Academy so vital.
